OMG - 4 years between posts - that's not good - well, I was curious to see if I even still OWNED the blog name - and I guess I do, so maybe I will actually update it and see if it makes any sense for me to use it instead of Facebook..... So, here's to 2015 - and a new start......

Papertrey Ink ROCKS!

I ordered some stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink on Monday and they arrived today - so I had to break into the package right away (of course) and play with them.

Here's a card that seems appropriate for me and my friends - Sentiment reads "We're actually supposed to use our supplies?" And inside, "I thought we were just collecting them!"

How perfect is that! - And, I used some of my supplies making it.

Here's another post for me! Wow! Two posts in two days! What's next??

Anyway, here's a Passover card I whipped out last night for Bob's aunt (and a duplicate for his sister). Since I can't find the newest Cricut release - Damask Decor - with all the neat lacy layers, I had to improvise a little using a layer shape from "Paper Lace" - all in all, it turned out pretty good - but then I had to MAKE the envelopes since the card ended up measuring over 6" square! And making envelopes is a pain!

April 13th - Well, I'm sincerely making the effort to update my blog. Here's the latest group of cards I put together, some for a Cricut Swarm my friends and I just had, and some just for fun for Spring...

The flowers are blooming here and it's time for me to get out and take some photos and actually do some scrapbook pages.

Enjoy Spring!

I'm still here and it seems things are busier than ever - what with my "fulltime" job, working at the 'Doodle occasionally, and keeping up with my fellow Cricuteers. But I am posting a few projects I have completed in the last few weeks. And I will try to be better in the future about blogging.... where does the time go??

CRICUT IMAGINE

Well, friends, it's been a busy 4 months - mostly because of the holidays and all - but also because I purchased the NEW CRICUT IMAGINE machine when it was launched on HSN on Sept. 14th - MY BIRTHDAY!! I saw that as a good omen and bought the machine and some of the new cartridges for it. Well, I have played with it, been frustrated with it, finally had to return it when it froze during an update - and had a new replacement one sent. All in all, I am sure it has great potential which I have just begun to tap into, and I look forward to playing with it more.

But, first off, a few cards I made with it. Now, remember, that not only does it cut (very intricate designs), but it also PRINTS IN COLOR when using one of its cartridges, so all of these cards were printed first, then die cut and then assembled.

Kind of impressive, I think.

Thanks for looking and I'll try to share more exciting projects with you in the coming months.
